Can you believe I lived in New York for four years and never went to a David Chang restaurant?! Me neither. Luckily, I rectified that on my trip to NYC last month and went to Momofuku Ko, Chang's two Michelin-starred, Japanese kaiseki tasting menu restaurant. Ko is ranked #58 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list, so I thought, why not start with his most awarded restaurant?! #gobigorgohome
I opted for the bar tasting menu, a walk-in only special for $75 (a great deal for a tasting menu of this caliber!). I really enjoyed my first taste of Chang's cooking, and now I can’t wait to check out his new LA restaurant, Majordomo! See the full menu and pictures from Ko below!

1. Pomme soufflee, lobster paloise
2. Fluke - rye bonji, mustard greens
3. Sea urchin - chickpea hozon, olive oil
4. Dungeness crab - brown rice, bourbon
5. Beef - radish salad
