Pit Stop: Natural Bridge National Monument
Stop #2 of The Carnivorr Roadtrip:
Driving from DC to Nashville is a 10-hour long drive (yikes!) so we wanted a pit stop where we could stretch our legs and get some exercise – and some food, of course. Lucky for us, we stumbled upon the Natural Bridge National Monument in Virginia. What a hidden gem! This gorgeous natural wonder was one of the most impressive spots I’ve ever been to. Back in the day, this historical site was frequented by the likes of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. It was so fun to walk and stretch our legs on the nature path, surrounded by tall trees, waterfalls, and even an historic Indian village. We ended our pit stop with a delicious Roast Beef melt and a pipin’ hot cup of chili at their town’s cute deli and general store, Natural Bridge Deli.
